Phased reopening

This week we began our phased reopening of College.  Throughout the lockdown period we have worked with learners and families using worksheets, online video chats, phone calls and online group lessons.  As we now move into this next phase we are delivering one-to-one and small group activities, all taking place outdoors and managed safely with social distancing measures and PPE.

It has been wonderful to see learners back together again, learning how to stay safe and showing us how they’ve progressed by working on their targets at home.

Since returning, learners have been gardening and orienteering ….

With more organisations now beginning to open, we have also started some transition visits and look forward to more activities in the next couple of weeks!

Thank you to all our learners for their enthusiasm and engagement, to families for their courage and trust, and to colleagues for their flexibility and commitment.  By working together we can deliver meaningful and safe learning activities through this challenging time.
