Dignity Action Day
To celebrate Dignity Action Day 2015, we co-hosted a Digni-tea Party with our colleagues from the Local Area Coordination team in the Abbey and Normanton Wards.
Dignity Action Day gives everyone the opportunity to contribute to upholding people’s rights to dignity, ensuring those who use care services are treated as individuals and are given choice, control and a sense of purpose in their daily lives.
We were delighted to welcome neighbours, friends and colleagues from the local area, all joining us for a cup of tea, piece of cake and a chat about what makes them feel welcomed and respected.
It was a wonderful celebration of the strength in our community and an opportunity to share ideas, skills and support that we can all offer to each other.
