Dignity Dance-A-Thon!
To celebrate Dignity Action Day, Transition 2 hosted a ‘Dance-A-Thon’, in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Dancing for Dignity!’
The Dignity in Care Campaign‘s core values are about having dignity in our hearts, minds and actions, changing the culture of care services and placing a greater emphasis on improving the quality of care and the experience of citizens using services including NHS hospitals, community services, care homes and home support services.
The 2 hour dance-a-thon was led by Ange, our fabulous Zumba instructor who runs weekly classes for our learners at Ritmo Studio in Belper.
The event was a fun way to raise money for Dignity in Care and Dementia Friends.
As well as our learners and staff, and friends from local organisations and schools, we were so excited to see so many members of our Alumni at the event!
